Sweet 1 year old registered American Pit Bull
Terrier, General Beauregard, Beau for short, is about to
loose the only family he has known.
He has been owned by a lady since he was 7 1/2
weeks old and now she is leaving the country for work on
July 10 and he has to be left behind. He is a large
boy, but so laid back and sweet. His weight is
presently around 80# and he is still growing. He has
lived with small and big dogs and does well with them.
He is up to date, neutered, crate trained, housebroken
and smart. He knows some commands, but could use some
obedience and leash work. Sunburst Foundation is trying
to help him find a home.
We are looking for a foster or permanent home with the
right family. The perfect match would have experience
with the breed, possibly someone that would like to show
him or work with him as a therapy dog. With his docile
personality and goofy big face and head, he would make
anyone feel better just to meet him. He will be micro
chipped prior to adoption.
