Furniture Delivery options and terminology

 

Free shipping

  • Free shipping on all rugs 
  • Shipping is free for orders over $1500 please see policy below  - Furniture orders under $1500 is in store pick up or North Carolina delivery area only
  • To Your Address. Curbside. Includes phone ahead notification. This will likely be the same day as delivery or day before. If over 100lb includes lift gate. 
  • Item will be left in its packaging. 
  • Please inspect packing for apparent damage; punctured or damaged boxes. If seen, note on receiving paperwork. Please inspect each piece carefully, no damage claims can be made after delivery.
  • If you live in an apartment building, or have other entry logistic challenges, we strongly suggest upgrading to White Glove Delivery. The service is worth it! 
  • We will not be responsible for items left out side if you choose this options.
  • No assembly.


White glove delivery without assembly  - additional $200

  • Delivers to a room inside your home. Shipment can be brought up two flights of stairs (a flight is 4-15 steps) or in an elevator. 
  • Packaging will be removed. 
  • No Assembly; if required. 
  • Please inspect each piece carefully, no damage claims can be made after delivery.

White glove delivery with assembly  - additional $300

  • Delivery to a room inside your home. Shipment can be brought up two flights of stairs (a flight is 4-15 steps) or in an elevator
  • Packaging will be removed and disposed.
  • Assembly service. The delivery team will assemble your item. 
  • Please inspect each piece carefully, no damage claims can be made after delivery.

Rush Orders 

  • Average Transit time 14 - 21 days. 
  • Average RUSH delivery total 30 days. 
  • Does not include RUSH Shipping.

 Notification of your delivery

  • Once your shipment has is in transit and is in your local area, a representative from the delivery company Will call to schedule a 2-4-hour delivery window.
  • This may require up to 30 days depending on your order(s) and location. 
  • Our delivery partners do their best to provide an accurate time and date of delivery. Please keep in mind unforeseen events beyond their control may cause delays. All residential furniture shipping is based on consolidation. Special rush direct services; as fast as four days from pick up are available. Please email or call for quote. 
  • If you need the shipment carried up more than 30 steps, give us a call and we’ll look into arrangements.
  • Delivery companies vary depending on item type and service selected. 

Freight Damages

  • We inspect every piece of merchandise before it leaves our store or warehouse. In the unlikely event that your merchandise is damaged in transit, please contact Blue Hand Home as soon as possible if you receive a package with visible damage.
