It’s not hard to see why the silhouette has persisted in popularity more than one thousand years later. The voluptuous shape, rendered in high-gloss Chinese porcelain, stands as a traditional nod to the feminine form, here brought into focus by its peony pink finish. Light, vertical ribbing gives the curves of the Delft a naturally elongated feel, as its geometric gold-leaf base adds an extra bit of allure.
