RETURNS & EXCHANGES

We are sorry you are not 100% satisfied with your purchase(s) and would be happy to provide you with a store credit or full refund less the shipping charge within 14 days after receiving your item(s).

SOME ITEMS ARE ELIGIBLE FOR RETURN OR EXCHANGE. SEE LIST BELOW OF NON ELIGIBLE ITEMS

Return Process 

  • For return or exchanges you will need an RA# (return authorization) number. Please click on link below and follow instructions for returning item(s)
  • Returns Request  
  • Once your return request has been approved. You will be notify by email on return instructions.  After submitting your return request, we will review the information and forward via email an RA number and instructions for returning the item(s). If you have trouble logging into your account please contact us by email at service@bluehandhome.com or phone 910.509.0088. We are here to help :) 
  • Please note not all items are available for return or exchange please see list below.

ITEMS NOT ELIGIBLE FOR RETURN OR EXCHANGE

  • Furniture, lighting, art, rugs and sales items, monogrammed items
  • All Custom/Special orders are final.  All sales items are final.
  • Any items worn or used.

ITEMS ELIGIBLE OR RETURN OR EXCHANGES

  • You may return most new, unopened and unworn-ed items within 14 days after delivery for a full refund less shipping
  • Items with "free shipping" will be charged $6.00 for a return label.
  • Soiled/used items will be refused and returned to you at your expense.
  • Please allow us 3-5 days to process your return once we have received it. Your credit card will be refunded less shipping as soon as your return(s) has been processed.  Please note it generally takes 7-10 days for the refund to show on your credit card statement.

Cancellations : You can cancel orders within 48 hrs or if the item has not been shipped.

Price Adjustments

  • We do our very best to correctly price items on display on our website, however, there are those rare occasions when there is a price discrepancy or an item has been discontinued. We reserve the right to adjust the price & or shipping cost or cancel the order. You will notify of any changes in price prior to finalizing your order. 

SHIPPING

  • Small items - Estimated Ship Date: we usually ship within 3-5 business days. You will receive an email notification with tracking information as soon as the order is ready to ship. We ship with USPS ( the awesome post office) and general shipping time is 3 - 4 days including Saturday deliveries. Yahoo!
  • We will notify you right away if an item(s) is out of stock.
  • Blue Hand Home do everything possible to ensure an accurate shipping date but please be aware that all shipping dates are "ETA" estimate time of arrival. Unfortunately, we can not guaranteed shipping time.   

FURNITURE & OTHER LARGER ITEMS SHIPPING TIME

  • Please allow 3-4 weeks for furniture and other larger items - if an item is not in stock you will be notify immediately. 
  • Shipping is free for orders over $1500 please see policy below  - Furniture orders under $1500 is in store pick up or North Carolina delivery area only
  • Your credit card will not be charged till you are acceptable with the estimated shipping date.
  • Please allow 8-10 weeks for special custom orders unless otherwise specified. 

Blue Hand Home has selected the most professional carriers to ensure that your order arrives in excellent condition and in a timely manner. When checking out you will have the option to select the form of shipping / delivery. DELIVERY OPTIONS & TERMINOLOGY

FREE SHIPPING

  • Shipping is free for furniture orders over $1500 please see policy below  - Furniture orders under $1500 is in store pick up or North Carolina delivery area only, you also have the option of paying for delivery for orders under $1500. To get quote please email: service@bluehandhome.com

  • Shipped to front door. Shipment will be left in your front entrance or in your garage, if you have one.

  • If you live in an apartment building, you may want to upgrade to Inside Delivery. 
  • Item will be left in its packaging 
  • We will not be responsible for items left out side if you choose this options. 
  • No assembly. 
  • Please inspect packing for apparent damage; punctured or damaged boxes. If seen, note on receiving paperwork.  
  • Please inspect each piece carefully, no damage claims can be made after delivery. 
  • If you live in an apartment building, or have other entry logistic challenges, we strongly suggest upgrading to White Glove Delivery. The service is worth it! 

WHITE GLOVE DELIVERY WITHOUT ASSEMBLY

  • Delivers to a room inside your home. Shipment can be brought up two flights of stairs (a flight is 4-15 steps) or in an elevator. 
  • Packaging will be removed.  
  • No Assembly  
  • Please inspect each piece carefully, no damage claims can be made after delivery  


WHITE GLOVE DELIVERY WITH ASSEMBLY

  • Delivers to a room inside your home. Shipment can be brought up two flights of stairs (a flight is 4-15 steps) or in an elevator. 
  • Packaging will be removed and disposed. 
  • Assembly service. The delivery team will assemble the item for up to 30 minutes, using basic tools such as a screwdriver or allen wrench. 
  • Please inspect each piece carefully, no damage claims can be made after delivery.

NOTIFICATION OF YOUR DELIVERY

  • You will be notify by the delivery company when your order is ready to ship 
  • Once the shipment is in your local area, a representative from the delivery company will call to schedule a 4-hour delivery window.
  • Our delivery companies do the best to give you an accurate time and date of delivery but please keep in mind of unforeseen events beyond their control that may cause delays
  •  All residential furniture shipping is based on consolidation.

FREIGHT DAMAGES

  • We inspect every piece of merchandise before it leaves our store or warehouse. In the unlikely event that your merchandise is damaged in transit, please contact Blue Hand Home as soon as possible if you receive a package with visible damage.
